Advocacy Consortium UK

Working together improving independent advocacy services for all.

Welcome

ACUK is a network of networks. A consortium of national organisations, regional and local support networks and individuals operating at the national level working to promote independent advocacy. ACUK aims to be informed by people that use advocacy and all types of advocacy provision, in order to share advocacy expertise, offer mutual support to members and create opportunities to promote and enhance advocacy provision across the UK.

The purpose of ACUK is

  1. To meet as a group and offer mutual support and share information and best practice.
  2. To collaborate and consult on relevant initiatives impacting on good advocacy practice.
  3. To create partnership opportunities for members to work together.
  4. To be inclusive and open to all who meet the above membership criteria.

The scope of the group is to share advocacy expertise and intelligence, offer mutual support with members, and create collaborative opportunities to promote and enhance advocacy provision across the UK.
